OUR SERVICES

EXAMS

  • True False

Everyone needs an eye exam. And not just any quick check, your
precious eyes deserve the best.

At Hope Vision Care, we don’t just ask “which is better 1 or 2?” Our
comprehensive medical eye exam takes into account lifestyle,
computer use, & any underlying health problem. We measure over
25+ aspects of your eye, from front to back. Then we find the best
solution on the market with lens technology and high quality products
to treat your eyes the way they should be treated.

DO YOU HAVE 20/20 VISION?

Here’s a peek into three different eyes that all see 20/20. Let’s ensure that
you not only have good vision, but also have healthy eyes inside & out.

We provide a more comfortable eye
exam without dilation drops. Wide view
Opto-map imaging helps us check for
cholesterol, hypertension, diabetes,
retinal tears, and even cancer.

All this captured in 5 seconds.

Say good to airpuffs. Our glaucoma
evaluation no longer includes the
blast of air into your eyes. More
friendly, and more accurate.

Evaluating the eye front to back also
includes problems with lid droop or lid
asymmetry. Nonsurgical methods of
improving eyelid appearance can be
done with a prescription eye drop.

Learn The Importance Of A
Child’s Annual Eye Exam

DID YOU KNOW

  • 1. Myopia (nearsightedness) is the most
    common problem in school-aged children.
  • 2. School vision screenings are not
comprehensive eye exams. Up to 75% of
school vision screening miss vision problems.
  • 3. Vision can affect sports performance too.
    Hand-eye coordination
    Eye tracking ability
    Depth perception

1 IN 4 CHILDREN HAVE A
VISION PROBLEM

DON’T WAIT

Parents can’t wait for their children to say
they aren’t seeing well, because kids don’t
know what “normal vision” is. Only 2% of
parents would wait for their child to have
symptoms before going to a pediatrician
or dentist yet 24% of parents would wait
for their child to have symptoms before
taking them to the eye doctor.

WE CAN HELP DETECT

  • Misaligned eyes (strabismus)
  • “Lazy eye” (amblyopia)

    vision syndrome)

  • Colorblindness

Begin treatment for these problems as

for your child is the best thing you can do

MYOPIA CONTROL

OUR SPECIALTY

Myopia (also called nearsightedness) is where they
eyeball is either too long or the cornea is too curved,
leading to difficulty seeing objects, while vision up close
is clearer. Our Myopia Control Program slows down
prescription changes and in some cases even stops it
from increasing.

Typically, once you become myopic, it tends to worsen
over time. Higher levels of myopia are associated with
greater risk of eye diseases like glaucoma, retinal
detachment, myopic macular degeneration (central
vision loss), and cataracts later in life.

How to slow down Myopia

Myopia control is dedicated to slowing down or even stopping the
progression of myopia in children and teens. Below shows the options and
their effect on slowing myopic progression.

Other ways to slowing down myopia progression:

THE HOPE VISION CARE DIFFERENCE

There are many myopia control programs
out there but to do it properly, it must include
axial length measurements of the eye.

Measuring axial length is necessary to

  • (1) Determine the risk of associated pathology
  • (2) Predict the risk for myopia development for a
patient not just by checking a prescription
  • (3) Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment

GLASSES

A pair of shoes, a purse, a pair of concert tickets, not even an iPhone can help
you see better… Every single day. That’s why we love a great quality pair of
glasses. It functions as both fashion and improves our quality of life.

THE FORM

Eyeglass frames are not all created equal. Hope Vision is a firm believer that
details matter, and quality matters. We stand by the detailed construction of our
eye wear. Our eyewear collection is sourced from Italy, Japan, Austria, Spain,
France, and right here at home. The frames are curated by our ABO licensed
opticians and optometrists.

CONTACTS

A good pair of contacts on our eyes should go together Simon & Garfunkel,
McCartney & Lennon, Sonny & Cher — you get where we’re going with this. To get
that musical match between contacts and eyes, we analyze the best fit through a
data-driven process.

THE CONTACT
LENS FITTING

  • Vision Testing

Your contact lens prescription will be different from your glasses prescription and it can change over time.

  • Measure Cornea

Precise, personalized measurements are key to a comfortable fit & clear vision.

  • Assess Eye Health & Tears

Dry eyes, allergies, or eye diseases may mean contacts aren’t right for your eyes. You may need to consider specialty lenses or treatment of symptoms.

  • Discuss Contact Options

Will you wear contacts daily, at work, for sports, or just for special occasions? Your eye doctor can help you decide on the right type of lens for your vision and lifestyle.

  • Learn to Wear Contacts

Your eye doctor will teach you how to insert & remove your lenses and give you important tips to avoid infections & scratches from your contacts.

  • Find the Perfect Fit

Contacts are medical devices and it can be a process to find the right fit with your optometrist. It might take more than one appointment to discover the perfect fit for your eyes — but it’s worth it.

TYPES OF CONTACT LENSES

SPECIALTY CONTACT LENSES

Specialty lenses are customized,
crafted molds that give patients a high
level of visual performance and
comfort. One example is a scleral lens,
which is used in situations where
irregularities in the shape of the cornea
make it virtually impossible to fit a
standard lens. Another common option
is orthok-k lenses, which are hard
corneal molds worn at night. These
gently reshape the cornea, providing
clear vision for patients who struggle
with myopia (nearsightedness),
astigmatism, or a changing prescription.

CORNEAL DISEASE

Many ocular conditions can make it
difficult to wear standard contacts.
Those include: Keratoconus, Corneal
scarring, Dry eye syndrome, Pellucid
Marginal Degeneration, Giant
Papillary Conjunctivitis (GPC), Post-
LASIK, or other refractive procedure
Astigmatism. Our eye doctors will
check your eyes thoroughly to
identify which specialty contact
lenses will give you the best fit.

HEADACHES

Approximately 45 million Americans suffer from headaches. Stress, lack of sleep,
sinuses, hydration, can all contribute. But let’s not forget about the eyes & digital
eye strain. We measure eye convergence and evaluate its connection to headaches.

9 out of 10 patients with digital eye strain use their computer for 2 hours or more.
The good news: 9 out of 10 patients that are prescribed the Neurolens find
symptomatic relief.
